Oscar Pistorius is a South African Sprint Runner who had both his legs amputated as a baby. Despite his disabilities, he still participates in events for able-bodied people. After becoming a Paralympics Champion, he attempted to enter the able-bodied international competition, even though officials claimed his prosthetic limbs gave him an unfair advantage. In 2011, he became the first amputee to win an able-bodied track medal. In 2012, he continued to win more Olympic and Paralympic medals, breaking many world records along the way. More recently however, he has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend (whom he supposedly shot on Valentines Day.) His trial is set for March 2014.
